Andrology Services
Our all-inclusive Andrology services provide vital
information for couples prior to beginning an insemination
program. Our highly trained Andrology team critically
evaluates sperm counts, motility and morphology to
identify possible abnormalities and assess the likelihood
of successful fertilization.
The Andrology Laboratory is state licensed and accredited
by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and adheres
to the guidelines of the Society for Assisted Reproductive
Technology
(SART).
We offer a full spectrum of diagnostic
services, including:
- Complete semen analysis in accordance with strict World Health
Organization ( WHO ) standard procedure
- Sperm morphology analysis using Kruger Strict Criteria
- Sperm immunology testing
- Semen culture
- Sperm processing for intrauterine insemination
- Artificial insemination using donor sperm
- Cryopreservation of sperm
- Long - term sperm storage through affiliated centers
- Sperm isolation and evaluation from testicular biopsy tissue and
epididymal aspiration
We are able to diagnose and prepare a plan of treatment
for other male conditions, including:
When artificial insemination is necessary, we carefully
prepare and concentrate the sperm in order to maximize
the chance of a successful conception.
We also offer sperm cryopreservation to patients who
have concerns about their reproductive future, due to
chemotherapy, radiation or other treatments that may
result in potential subfertility, including patients
undergoing planned vasectomy
- Azoospermia (no sperm in the ejaculate)
